The Practice is led by Barry Fletcher who has extensive experience in design and construction covering a wide range of building types.
The Practice is supported by a team of technical staff all of whom share the same dedication and commitment to achieve the highest possible level of professional service.
Barry trained part time at Chelmsford Polytechnic to obtain National & Higher National certificate in Building Studies and then on to the University of Greenwich obtaining Diploma, Degree and professional practice qualifications in Architecture. Elected to the RIBA in 1996. Barry has worked in private practice since 1981.
Barry is our Managing Director and Principal and provides the vision and driving force behind the future success of our practice. Barry specialises in designing workable residential schemes of all sizes, but also has extensive commercial and industrial experience, and is committed to ensuring the practice keeps pace with modern technology in order to offer clients a truly comprehensive and contemporary design service.
Anita has worked for FBB Architects Ltd since 2002. Anita actively contributes to managing the Practice and developing and finalising schemes at pre-planning, planning & detailed design stage. Anita is Project Architect and team leader on both residential & commercial projects and has also developed CGI’s and animations, drawings, illustrations and Design Access Statements in support of numerous planning applications. Anita supports other staff on CAD related issues, CfSH and Lifetime Homes, planning & building regs submissions, and external works strategy and detailing. In addition, Anita has contributed to successful architectural competitions bids.
The Practice is supported by FBB’s talented Studio Team comprising qualified Architectural Technologists, Architectural Assistants, Technicians and administration staff, all of whom have many years of experience of private residential, developer-led residential and commercial projects of all sizes.
